The Future of DIY Objects by TourDeFork

Five 3D printed objects for the dinner table.

Details: Culinary creative consultancy TourDeFork, with help from Astrid Luglio, has designed five 3D printed objects that allow users to stylishly recycle old glass bottles, a candelabra, a hanger, a cake stand, an appetizer holder and a cocktail pot. The objects were created for CASAfacile, a monthly magazine in Italy, as part of a series of projects and tutorials that explain in simple terms what rapid prototyping technologies are and how they work. The designs can be downloaded for free from the magazine’s website and taken to the nearest FABlab to be transformed into real objects using 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC technologies.
