Vitruvio Speaker by Juan Soriano Blanco and Giorgio Bonaguro

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man drawing, Giorgio Bonaguro and Juan Soriano Blanco’s Vitruvio is a spherical speaker suspended in a cube-shaped structure.

Details: Connected to the external structure with rubber wires along the diagonal, the speaker moves with the sound waves, exhibiting the “movement of sound”. Vitruvio connects to any music device (stereo, ipod, iphone, etc..) and has an external structure that can be made of solid wood or metal, the ball can be made of metal or ceramic.

Designers: Giorgio Bonaguro is an industrial and interior designer based in Milan who studied mechanical engineering in Modena and got his master studies in Industrial an Interior Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD). Juan Sorian Blanco graduated in Industrial Design in Madrid and then got a masters in Design at the University Cardenal Herrera – CEU in Valencia, then attended the Design Academy Eindhoven for a year and SPD in Milan.
