TACTILU Tactile Communication Bracelet by panGenerator
High tech touch: TACTILU Tactile Communication Bracelet by panGenerator remotely transmits touch via Bluetooth and smartphone-accessed Internet, using high tech materials like nitinol shape memory springs and a quantum tunneling composite (QTC) pressure sensor.
Details: Work-in-progress. Requires sender and receiver bracelets. 3D printed enclosure, Arduino microcrontroller. Created with the Polish bureau of global marketing agency, Cheil, for Poland’s ITAKA Foundation: Centre for Missing People. TACTILU was presented at the Polish Job exhibition during Milan Design Week 2014.
