Syzygy is an astronomical name denoting “a straight line configuration of three celestial bodies in a gravitational system,” – the collection consists of two table lamps and a wall light model – “each of which demonstrates a particular aspect of the syzygy: transit, occultation and eclipse.”

The lamps are on view at the Craft & Scenography exhibition in Basel until July 11, 2012. More at OS ? OOS.
