A Hong Kong Times Square is ‘submerged,’ an exhibition and installation by Yoskay Yamamoto featuring a series of sculptures in a range of scales and sizes – from 3 inch hand carved works all the way up to a pair of 30 foot tall sculptures. The exhibition is set both indoors and out – with a wishing tree placed within one of the larger ones, based on the traditional Japanese temples where visitors can leave wishes and prayers. Inside the atrium gallery there are 25 more ‘submerged’ sculptures and a series of six paintings.
Artist: Yoskay Yamamoto
Submerged will be on display through October 31, 2013.
