Persy Rug by Samuel Accoceberry

persy_rug_samuel_accoceberry.jpg The patterns on Persian carpets, originally reinterpretations of the renowned gardens of Persian kings, are reduced to their graphic essence by Samuel Accoceberry for Persy.

Details: A tribute to the ancient art of Persian carpets, Persy is inspired by the symmetrical composition of these carpet/gardens, “but [for Persy] removing their dreamlike and colorful appearance” says the designer.

Creating a more abstract and contemporary landscape with austere graphic elements standing in for the detailed, floral elements commonly found in this 2500 year old tradition.
