Patyczaki (Stick Insects) by Jan Godlewski

Jan Godlewski’s Stick Insects, Patyczaki in Polish, are modular elements that can be used to construct furniture.

Details: In search of a universal module that can be “useful in as many situations as possible”, Godlewski has devised fastening elements made of duralumin PA6 and ash wood slats that can be easily attached and used to make structures.

“They offer the possibility to create an infinite number of structures thanks to their simple and universal design. Three pieces of furniture – table, bookshelf, lamp – are examples of the potential of the project.” says Godlewski.

Patyczaki is a finalist in the make me! contest and exhibition at the 2014 Lodz Design Festival.
