Origami Chair by Jan Brouwer & Chris Karthaus for Brouhaus

Thin and green: Origami Chair by Jan Brouwer & Chris Karthaus is strikingly thin and efficiently made from 3mm (recycled) aluminum sheeting that’s laser cut, folded, finished and bolted together.

Details: Each of the three aluminum components can be coloured separately, for abundant colour combination possibilities. With the back removed, the chair becomes a stool.

Designers: In the Netherlands, architect Jan Brouwer and product designer Chris Karthaus collaborate as Brouhaus.

Origami Chair will be shown in Connecting the Dots – Milan 2014, a magazine printed in a reverse-cover issue together with the April edition of ELLE Decoration (NL).
