Milan 2012 Preview: Flying High and Free Tea Set by Heinrich Wang

Flying High and Free

Lighter than White is an interpretation of traditional Chinese culture and philosophy in a modern context. Says NewChi, “The unique style of the collection transcends global fashion boundaries and embraces both the confidence of a new century and the spirit of an ancient civilization.”


Ballet tea set

Wang refers to Chinese philosophy, legends and symbols in his works and “raises the issues of inner peace, enlightenment and self-improvement.”


Bel Canto tea set

Well known in his native Taiwan and other Asian countries, the Triennale di Milano show is the first European solo exhibition of the artist.
