Lady Peel House by rzlbd

Celebrity reno: Lady Peel House by rzlbd, a historical home in Toronto, Canada, birthplace of actress Beatrice Lillie (aka Lady Peel), has its “long, broken, and dark” interior opened up to an airy, modern white (with a touch of exposed brick), while the century+ Victorian exterior remains largely untouched.


Details: Three floors of naturally lit open-concept space; facade untouched except for careful window enlargement and brick exposure.


Designers: Boutique architectural firm, rzlbd, was started by principal Reza Aliabadi in Toronto in 2010.
