Italic Light is an italicized i.

Details: Designed and made by COORDINATION Berlin, Italic Light is a sculptural and typographical side light that transforms from shiny atmospheric marble object to directional light source.

Italic consists of a marble cylinder capped with an aluminum shade that flips up and contains an LED light source. A touch-dim function lets the user interact intuitively with the design.

Say the designers, “This crafted edition piece with its reduced sculptural approach plays on classic and postmodern design iconography.”

The light comes equipped with a high performance long-life LED ring, a built-in transformer and textile cable.
