Hollow Centrepiece by Geckeler Michels

One of the world’s most iconic pop culture symbols is the layout for a finely shaped table bowl.

Details: Made of galvanized copper, Hollow is a very self-aware home accessory consisting of intersecting tubes with “obvious potential for polemics” say the designers.

“This object is mainly characterized by its visual idea of a graphical structure, the smoothness of intersecting tubes and its precious surface finish.”

Designers: Geckeler Michels is an industrial design studio founded in 2013 by David Geckeler and Frank Michels who met during their studies. Their common interest is the wider area of industrial design, focused on furniture, lighting, tableware and home accessories.
