Travels With My Spoon: disposable spoons heated, altered, reborn.

Details: Collected by designer Tithi Kutchamuch from places traveled to around the world, these disposable spoons are heated, altered and then cast in metal (oxidized silver 925) to live again as art.

"By transforming them using precious metals the integrity of the spoon is re-written, it's new life is born. This way the object that could be considered trash becomes valuable forever; disposable becomes collectable." says Kutchamuch.

Travels With My Spoon will be part of the Give Me A Spoon exhibition at the ATTA Gallery in Bangkok from October 2 to November 9, 2014.
