Details: Crafted with a combination of handwork and CNC machining. Darkened with a vinegar and steel wool solution. Grain orientation carefully considered to avoid cracking and warping over time. Solid wood rather than metal drawer slides used to increase the integral lifespan of the piece. Piega means fold in Italian.

Designer: Katrina Ennamorato is a Toronto designer, with a BFA in New Media from Ryerson University, currently studying Furniture Craft and Design at Sheridan College.
