"Jump, a jumping rope pour Christofle - ├ęcal. I couldn't find who invented the jumping rope, probably because this toy is so old that nobody really remembers. I like that!

The parallel is there: an iconic toy vs. the long lasting high quality Christofle craftsmanship. This item is the first of a series of 'non-design' of projects. This means that I kept the object in its original state, a rope with a knot at each end. This is its simplest evocation and probably the very first form of the jumping rope.

Jump was a great success, it was one of those projects that contains a strong and simple idea, you feel no gap between the idea, function and production."
