Gonçalo Campos was inspired by the age old ritual and tools involved in uncorking wine for Rolha, a side table with a solid cork table top.

Rolha is Portuguese for the cork stopper used in wine bottles. "This table is composed of very simple elements. A solid, turned cork top and three turned wood legs, fitted with a screw, similar to the ones used to uncork traditional wine bottles." says Campos.

"By simply twisting the characteristic screw tip, this table can easily be assembled without any tools. Thanks to the amazing strength of cork this elementary action is enough to keep the table sturdy and stable."
