JVC Kenwood Wireless Wooden Speakers
by Ted Savage / January 10, 2013
Channeling the ambiance of the great outdoors, JVC Kenwood Wireless Wooden Speakers produce sound through the vibration of the cubic wood enclosure - not great for bass, they're apparently in their element reproducing bird twitters, forest rustlings and the like, and come with an optional subscription service that streams real-time audio from microphones in the mountains of Takayama and Morotsuka. So far available only in Japan. Via Engadget.
