Double X Table by Louie Rigano

Via @louierigano, a table whose name is derived from the shape of its knockdown leg structure.

Says Rigano, "The entire aesthetic is a product of the simple array of shapes used: a circle, a rectangle, and two lines."

"The tabletop is Carrara marble and the leg structure is white oak. The two crossbeams each make contact with two planes: one with the floor and one with the bottom surface of the tabletop."

"These pieces are lap jointed and then screwed together to the central rectangular piece. The marble circle elegantly sits within the negative space cut out of the top side of the oak structure."
