K House by Datum Zero
by Mike / April 18, 2012
Via @pArq, a house located in the mountains of Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and built on a modest budget.

"The house is organized as a horizontal bar anchored on one end to a concrete base and suspended at the other end, extending out into the forest, with thin steel columns that in some cases surpass five meters in height."

"This allows the home to be hidden amongst the tops of trees with its terraces, large openings and wide eaves, and connect with the tree 'canopy', living and mingling with the landscape." More at Datum Zero. Photos: courtesy Datum Zero.
