WA House by MAPA
by Harry / February 8, 2012
Via @archdaily, a house located on the outskirts of Santiago in Curacaví, Chile, a valley locally known for its great wines. "As a starting point [the owner] brought in the image of a Chilean colonial-style house as a reference for his future home."

The new construction has elements of Chilean colonial architecture, siding made in blood red metal and a courtyard/ exterior corridor that serve to separate the public and private areas of the house. More at MAPA. Photos: Cristobal Palma.
