From Mark Bendow, a series of single, one-legged cabinets that lean on each other to form a sideboard. "The five trapezoidal segments 'friends' is composed of, offer a lot of space and all the functions of any well planed sideboard."

"The dynamic of states like falling, floating or swinging is just hardly applied onto a static body. But if we think about dancing or acrobatics it becomes clear that the most dynamic and exciting figures are based on the interaction of several individuals. To support and hold each other and therefore to counteract external forces ones could not bear alone - This is the essence of teamwork and the fundamental quality of friendship and has been the inspiration in form, construction and name to designer Mark Bendow's sideboard 'friends'.

Books, magazines or the like lean against the sloped sides of the blowers. Smaller items like CDs, gadgets, accessories or similar can disappear in the drawers. The topography of the surface area is designed to take objects without difficulties. Books can be presented open in the 'valley' of the surface and decoration elements like vases find their place on the horizontal segment."
