Via @ArchDaily, a home nestled in an apple orchard in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, encourages a sense of seclusion and isolation from neighboring properties.


To recognize the existing home, designed by late New Zealand architect John Scott, renowned for his unique structures incorporating Maori and cultural architecture, "the new building is a simple two level, compact, cubic volume reintroducing and abstracting the themes developed by Scott."
