Doe Bay Cabin by Heliotrope Architects
by Ted Savage / August 20, 2011
Via @ArchDaily, a 1,000 sq. ft. family cabin on Orca Island, Washington, USA, met a modest budget with a simple box-shaped form, built with prefab structurally insulated panels, and a window wall that opens up an unobstructed water view.

The rich interior detailing "holistically reflects both the spirit of the place and the Japanese and Chinese heritage of the owners." More at Heliotrope Architects. Photos: Ben Benschnieder.
