Read-Unread Shelf by Niko Economidis
by Ted Savage / August 6, 2011
Via @parq, a concept shelf that is a question of balance, "created to examine the nature of books and reading." As a book is read and pages turned, the weight of right and left changes.

Reflecting this, read books are strapped in on one side, unread on the other, and the shelf adjusts accordingly. Constructed with leather straps and metal buckles, hanging from three chrome steel brackets. More at Niko Economidis. Photo: Niko Economidis.
