New Work by Orfeo Quagliata
by Ted Savage / August 4, 2011
Via @coolhunting, fantastical one-of-a-kind creations in high-end crystal - jewelry, glasses, other objets - fashioned by cutting down, melting and otherwise "disrespecting" elements supplied by the famed Swarovski brand of luxury crystal. (Above, a lipstick.)

It's all on display at New Work, master glassman Orfeo Quagliata's exhibit at the Velvet da Vinci, San Francisco, Aug. 2-28, 2011. The work inspired the new Phuze production lines of crystal accessories. More at Phuze Design.
