Flux is the physical manifestation of a ray of light.

Details: Inspired by the typical image of a street light emerging from the mist, the Flux lamp by Andreu Carulla is the physical manifestation of that ray of light.

Says the designer, “The product consists of two parts that fit together in the simplest possible way. The bulb-holder is machined from a solid block of aluminium resulting in a perfect component that maintains the constant temperature of the LEDs with precision. The lamp shade is made using technical cloth found primarily in the world of high-performance sport. Each and every one is hand-sewn. The result minimises bothersome shadows created with traditional lamps.”

The shade is made with an elastic and reflective technical fabric, whereas the pendant is black metal with 17W LED source.
