Fill my stocking Santa! by Paprika

fill_my_stocking_santa_paprika_2.jpg From Paprika, a giant Christmas stocking made of many small stockings (socks) for furniture maker and retailer Domison‘s store window.

“For the third consecutive year, Domison collaborated with Paprika to create an inspiring and daring window installation for the holiday season. After water bottles and cardboard, Paprika came up this year with an unusual material: socks! Using over 600 individual socks held together by safety pins, Louis Gagnon from Paprika created a surprising sculpture that hangs from the ceiling of the store.”

“As with all Domison’s installations, materials must be recyclable. Once over, the socks will be unclipped and brought to a homeless shelter making over 300 pairs of happy feet warmer for the cold Montreal winter.”
