If one were to set eyes on just a couple of paintings by New York artist Dan Witz and they happened to be from his Night series where storefronts and peeks into living room windows compete with moods set by lamps and lights of all kinds, well, one would be hard pressed to say that Witz has an extensive background in street art. But if one stumbled onto his Mosh Pit portfolio where there is a mad scrabble of people, dogs or rats, it might not be so difficult to make that leap from the pit to the street.

More Dam Witz tomorrow when we take it to the street.
