Ahhaproject have created a combination sink and dishwasher for Electrolux that saves space and time.

The Eco Automatic sink is donut shaped with one half exposed/open for loading, once full the sink then pivots underneath the enclosed section for cleaning and an open sink takes its place.

Because many users rinse dishes before loading the dishwasher both those actions can take place in the same space - rinsing and loading - saving a step as well as space.

Says Ahhaproject, "The idea came about when we realized the potential of space conservation when our sink was full of dirty dishes! The system works in a way that the dishes are cleaned within the sink, using the mechanics of a dishwasher."
