Corian isn't just for counter tops, which is why they recently opened a Corian Design Studio in the Flat Iron District of New York. Designed by New York architecture firm Morris Sato Studio, the 5,000 square-foot space features the material in a number of settings; kitchen, bathroom, bedroom...

Per Michael Morris of Morris Sato Studio, "We have defined the studio space through the Japanese concept of a borrowed landscape. Like a delicate garden, it is a sensory experience where designers can look, touch, feel and see the energy that CorianĀ® evokes," said Morris. "The specific technologies we have employed within the studio will actually draw people closer to the material, rather than farther away."
