Milan 2008: Il Salone del Mobile
by sabine7 / April 16, 2008

Day 1 at the Salone del Mobile was a whirl of people and COLOUR. Collections are colourful as are the designers, a few of whom were on hand to dress up their work even further. The Bourellec brothers were at Kartell, along with Tokujin Yoshiuka and Ross Lovegrove was there, too. Konstantin Grcic stood out among an army of Myto chairs and it’s a wonder we saw anyone at all, what with the crowds and better yet, the wide assortment of new designs and classic favourites. There will be more colour and texture to see later, but we want to share a taste of a day at the fair.
