A Room in the Glass Globe by Hideyuki Nakayama

a_room_in_the_glass_globe_hideyuki_nakayama.jpg A Room in the Glass is a glass globe-shaped doorknob in which “you catch a glimpse of what appears to be another world, waiting for you to enter and join, but in fact is a reflection of the room on the other side of the door.” Seen at DesignTide Tokyo 2010, architect Hideyuki Nakayama teamed up with UNION, a manufacturer of door handles and levers, to create the doorknob.
