Tivedo Task Lamp by Sebastian Bergne

“Tivedo is the new task lamp by Sebastian Bergne for Luceplan. It is a work light of the next generation, motivated by desire to achieve the best in user experience, light output, material use and manufacturing. The result is something totally new, yet reassuringly familiar. Starting with its arms, in injection-moulded technopolymer, they are connected by an original two-way pantograph system that allows for a wide range of movement and ensures the balance and stability of the lamp.

The swiveling head, also in technopolymer, is equipped with a practical and intuitive T shaped grip, contains the latest LED lighting module, that produces twice the usual light intensity, with low energy consumption and a life span approaching 50,000 hours. Another outstanding new feature is the heat sink, which for the first time in decorative lighting has been moulded in a thermally conductive plastic instead of aluminium.

The base houses an intelligent box connected to the cable, containing the switch and dimmer, with the option of including a presence sensor to activate the lamp. Tivedo comes in transparent Total Black, Process Blue and neutral Fumé Medio finishes.”
