Supca Pendant Light by Francisco Lira and Oscar Terrazas

“Supca tries to revive the traditional work of Chilean ceramists, reformulating their conventional construction method by using digital design processes, allowing the creation of complex geometry. Supca arises from recognizing the importance of geometric patterns used in diaguita pottery, transformed into a design resource of the lamp by applying processes of identification, classification and rationalization of the geometric shapes found in patterns, allowing us to create a lamp with an hermetic look, creating a sacred atmosphere through its soft light.”
