Slice Watch by Nendo

“A watch that appears to have been created by slicing a cylindrical piece of metal at regular intervals. Each of the two designs – ‘numbers’ and ‘gradations’ – remind wearers of the sections that remain after the parts have been cut away. We wanted to visualise the wristwatch’s function as a tool that ‘cuts out’ time as it passes by, always at the same pace and speed.” Photos: Hiroshi Iwasaki.
