It starts with the Renault Twingo, a designed-for-fun city car—the name combines “twist,” “swing,” and “tango”—first launched in Europe in 1993. To re-launch the Twingo for 2012 with its latest, greatest complete makeover, Renault commissioned les cabinets de curiosité (Cabinet of Curiosities), offering four diverse artists from four countries—French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Italian chef Davide Scabin, UK pop singer Nicola Roberts, German industrial designer Nils Holger Moormann—the chance to create their own interpretations of the new Twingo interior.
