Net Screen by Charlotte Ryberg

“A collection of semitransparent room dividers inspired by the sheer surface created by layers of suspended fishing nets. Unique screens, each with its own hand made pattern of coloured yarn in a wooden frame. Freestanding or foldable. Also made to measure.

As I child I sometimes got early summer mornings to follow my dad out on the sea to pick up the fishing nets we had laid out the night before. We slowly untangled the nets and hung them, layer upon layer, in the steep pine surrounded slope down to the sea. The sheer net surface created a space, but with a connection to the surroundings. I wanted to recreate that light structure for indoor use, combining it with a clear aesthetic.” net_screen_charlotte_ryberg_02
