Myth by Alex McLeod

Artist Alex McLeod‘s hyperreal landscapes are now joined by detailed, fantastical buildings.

Says the artist, “Most of my previous work is focused on landscape, so for this show ‘Myth’ I wanted to change things up a bit and focus on the interiors of buildings that sometimes populate those landscapes. I thought of the buildings as bodies, and that the objects that occupy space within them are placeholders for organs blood and energy. The overarching theme of my work is following transitional matter, like life cycles.”
