Landscape of Gravity is a pattern printing technique that visualizes the movement of water.
Details: Created by Kirsi Enkovaara, the technique applies unique 3D organic prints to surfaces of manmade objects. Objects in the collection are filled with water and then topped with oil-based ink and drained through a hole in their structure. Gravity pulling the water down transmits the ink to the surface of the vessels.
“This way emphasizing almost invisible movement of water and meeting points between manmade shapes and a natural element.” says the designer.
