Braa Lamps by Asaf Weinbroom

From Asaf Weinbroom Studio:

The new series of light fixtures combines brass tubes with wood joinery. The tubes are locked in tunnels milled in the wood. This combination between the materials enables a soft and smooth movement, without friction.

I decided to leave these materials untreated, the brass was sand blasted only and will darken over time. The idea was to allow the time passing leave its mark.

The series comprises two table lamps and a wall lamp:

- R, a table lamp with a diagonal joint, movement up & down and to the sides.
- J, the tubes are rounded at the edge creating 3 dimensional dynamic compositions while adjusting the light.
- T, wall lamp glides up & down and to the sides.
