Founded in 2004, architectural elements has quickly become a destination for design fans. Located in the heart of the Mission, the store carries pieces from Derin, Moooi, FLOS, Periphere, Vitra, Citizen Citizen, and others. Unlike the other home stores in the area, which are all mid-century modern, architectural elements exclusively sells pure contemporary design. When asked why they chose such an odd location they'll say "because we believe that every interior should reflect the person inhibitating the space. No one completely lives in the present. We're paying homage to our past by promoting eclectic interiors."
