A showroom in Sacramento might stretch the definition of San Francisco Bay Area a little thin, but Room & Co. deserve a mention both for their stock - which includes some really terrific and original pieces of furniture, as well as flooring, lighting and a huge range of home accessories and art - as for their fantastic service and competetive prices. Quite a few of their customers do come up the 90-odd miles from the Bay Area, and there's no reason you shouldn't as well - or at least stop on your way up to Tahoe or elsewhere in the mountains.
