Paul Okamoto and Eric Saijo founded their firm in 1991 and soon expanded to offices in both San Francisco and Oakland. They concentrate their attention on affordable housing projects and custom residences, with an emphasis on green design techniques; they've recently finished two passive solar residences incorporating earthwall and other environmental design features. Some of their more visible projects in the area include Positive Match on Eddy Street, the Salvation Army Chinatown Corps Community Center, and the new(ish) Harbor Light Center.
