The Slanted Door, one of my favorite restaurants in the city, recently moved from their Mission location (the old Valencia street room will reopen this year with a menu of "the street foods of Vietnam," although, I assume, not at street-foods-of-Vietnam prices) to the new, fantastically upscale Ferry Building, where diners at the window tables have a wonderful view of the bay and the menu is even more impressive. Very upscale Vietnamese in a beautiful wood and glass environment designed by Olle Lundberg.
