Details: Designer Katia Tolstykh set out to combine several functions for the Orator: an ergonomic feeder, a bird’s nest – and the principal element – a “speaker” to better disseminate the sounds of singing birds using the oak wood and copper birdhouse.
Says Tolstykh, “Natural sounds helps keep us in touch with nature in an urban environment.”
In 2015 Orator was part of Naturalist, a collective project by Russian product designers.
