SuperVolvo! The Volvo S60 Polestar Performance Concept marries the comfortably distinctive Volvo driving experience with over-the-top performance engineered by Volvo’s exclusive major racing partner. The go-fast folks at Polestar reinterpreted the respectable S60‘s chassis, engine and transmission to create a 508 hp monster capable of 0-to-62 mph in 3.9 seconds, and topping out at over 186 mph. The chassis was lowered, widened and reinforced, the Volvo T6 six-cylinder engine turbocharged and matched with a tuned Haldex all-wheel drive system and Öhlins suspension, idealizing it for both performance handling and long-distance touring. There is only the one at the moment, custom built for a client, but the availablity is there based on demand.
