The Victorinox 2013 Fall/Winter Futureproof Collection (the original Swiss Army Knife folks) may not be that exactly, but it is an impressive combination of Protect, Contour, Articulate and Innovate design (a military-influenced look that amalgamates old and new) and technical performance fabrics, like three-layer silver-back, bonded wool with laminated backing, and nylon twill. Victorinox’s new Artistic Director, Christopher Raeburn, caught inspiration for the collection from the Beyond Planet Earth: The Future of Space Exploration exhibition at New York’s American Museum of Natural History.
