A thoughtful and thorough take on ecologically conscious sneakers, Veja Indigenos Spring/Summer 2012 offers vegetable-tanned Nubuck uppers, sustainably harvested Amazonian natural rubber outsoles, 100% certified organic cotton, and no metal at all (as in, eyelets), manufactured in a  FLO-Cert and EcoLabel certified factory in Brazil.  This is not surprising from France’s Veja, an eco-fair trade brand that works with small producers and social associations in Brazil and France.
