Following up on last fall’s NYC pigeon-inspired, limited edition, highly collectible Staple x Kid Robot capsule collection—vinyl pigeon figure, keychain, keycap, tees—the Staple Design x Kidrobot Black Apparel Collection is a four-piece ensemble: shell, zip hood, button-down shirt and hip bag. The pieces are coordinated with detailing in cyan, magenta, and yellow, the colors that, along with black, make up the CMYK process black from the design and printing world. Who’d have thought?! Fabrics are technical for the outdoors—windproof, waterproof—the bag is designed by hip bagsters Lexdray, and the clothing is all made in Japan. Coming for holiday season 2012.
