Camera-phones are getting closer by the minute! The new Samsung Galaxy Camera, while not the first compact to offer connectivity, takes a big step in the I’m-a-phone-too department with this optically well-appointed snapshooter that also comes with Android OS, WiFi and 3G. Hot photo features include 21x optical zoom, a 16-Megapixel 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS image sensor, and, word is, the world’s largest and most vivid touchscreen display: 121.2mm or about 4.75″. And there’s full HD 1080p video, recording up to 30fps. Photosharing, of course, is made easy, there’s even AutoUpload. You can’t quite talk on it yet, but along with Instagram, Paper Artist, Dropbox, Gallery, Photo Wizard, Video Editor, AllShare Play, and S-Suggest, bundled apps include Samsung’s S-Voice and ChatON, for voice command and text messaging. Just released in the UK only at the moment. £399 ($635).
